General SummaryProvides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Contingent Option 1:
Unit-based contingent that reports directly to the Unit Manager/Unit Director. Meets all accountabilities of a Registered Nurse.
34 bed unit – this unit is a telemetry/progressive care unit. Takes rapid responses from other units within the hospital. Post cardiac intervention patients, AICD/pacemakers insertions, cardiac ablation, TAVRS, watchmans, chest pain, STEMI/NSTEMI patients. AIRVO. All staff ACLS certified.

Education/Experience Required- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Previous 1-2 years recent related clinical nursing experience and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required.
- Telemetry experience/knowledge preferred.
- 2 years RN experience preferred.
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- ACLS certification.
