Job Overview
NP position (Reference
-212396-NP-MI) for a Level I cardiothoracic surgery facility. Dates needed:
June 8th–ongoing. Day shift (7AM‑3PM) with weeknight and 24‑hour weekend call. Locum assignment. Board certification required. Prescriptive authority required.
LevelI cardiac and thoracic surgery center with advanced inpatient and operating room capabilities.
Role & Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical coverage in inpatient and OR settings.
- Work day shifts from 7AM to 3PM with weeknight and 24‑hour weekend call.
- Perform full‑scope rounding and call duties.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure continuity of care across the cardiothoracic service line.
- Registered Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification.
- Board certification in cardiothoracic nursing/medicine.
- Prescriptive authority.
- Experience in cardiothoracic surgery preferred.
- Case load: 10–15 surgeries per week.
- Support staff: 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Patient population: all ages.
- Location type: on‑site.
