Locum Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology | Lansing, MI

- Hours/Week: Full-time
- Employment Type: Locum
- Licensure/Certs: Active Michigan RN license, NRP certification, Neonatal ICU experience required
- Experience: Minimum of Neonatal ICU experience; new grads not accepted
- Pay package discussed upon application
- Weekly pay via direct deposit

- Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable
- Deliver specialized neonatal care in a busy Level III NICU setting
- Attend delivery rooms and perform neonatal resuscitation
- Assist with procedures such as PICC line and umbilical line placements
- Perform neonatal assessments and procedures including chest tube placement and needle aspirations
- Work under supervision of a supervising physician
- Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
- Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide care for neonatal patients with diverse needs within the intensive care unit
- Valid Michigan RN license (or license in a participating state)
- Neonatal experience (pediatric intensive care experience preferred)
- Current NRP certification
- Strong interpersonal and clinical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Must not work autonomously; supervision required during the assignment
