• Work with a diverse team to evaluate, triage, and implement patient care according to physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries, and plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods; lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds for patient transfers.
• Maintain composure under stress and interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

• Clinical experience: 1–2 years recent acute care, preferably in Emergency Department.
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC, and 2 years reference.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
