The Scheduler is responsible for ensuring adequate nursing staffing across all shifts based on budget and census information to meet the needs of residents. CNA Required for this position.
Location:
Clarkston, MI – less than 1 mile off I‑75, near Flint and Pontiac.

- Develop, manage, and post daily and biweekly staffing schedules.
- Consult with nursing staff and supervisors to ensure appropriate staffing levels on all shifts and monitor overtime.
- Manage call‑in process and fill open shifts as needed.
- Maintain complete electronic staffing schedules and run analytical and ad‑hoc reports as requested.
- Collaborate with the Administrator and Human Resources on staffing levels, open positions, and staffing ratios related to resident census requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field a plus.
- Completed approved nurse aide training program and current certification from the State of Michigan. Current CNA certification required.
- 1+ years of scheduling experience in long‑term care, health care, or similar environment.
- Strong computer skills; database experience and HRIS and payroll systems preferred.
- Critical thinking, sound decision‑making, strong math skills, good organizational skills, attention to detail and follow‑up skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care.
- Team player, dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done.
