American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level I Trauma Emergency Department position requiring TNCC, ACLS, PALS, and Epic experience, with weekend availability and an active MI RN license.

• Emergency Department (ER) at a Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center, and Pediatric Emergency Department
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
• Patient ratios are typically 1:5–6, and may reach up to 1:8 during high-volume periods or holidays
• Weekend requirement: 3 weekends (Fri–Sun) per 4-week schedule, with potential to work 1, 2, or all 3 days of the weekend
• Floating possible, including to the Pediatric Emergency Department
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR used;
  Epic training provided during orientation

• Active MI RN license required (compact licenses not accepted; must be active by start date)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA preferred), PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale — all certifications must be active and cannot be pending at contract start
• ENPC certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Former core staff members must wait 12 months before returning and should be verified through HR prior to consideration
• All RTO must be submitted at time of initial consideration; no additional RTO will be approved after submission, and no RTO is permitted during the month of July
• Maximum of 5 days RTO per assignment
• Pre-start online modules are required and completed before the first day; module types may vary by specialty
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Preferred experience includes continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration, and triage
