Locum Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology Lansing, MI | Level III NICU

  • License/Certs: Active State License Required (Michigan), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certified, Board Certified in Neonatology
  • Experience: Neonatal ICU experience required; new grads not accepted
Pay & Benefits
  • Pay Rate: Competitive hourly pay (rate discussed upon application)
  • Additional Compensation: Holiday pay at 1.5x, OT pay, orientation (half of hourly rate), travel reimbursements (hotel, mileage, flights)

What You’ll Do
  • Provide high-quality neonatal care in a Level III NICU setting
  • Attend deliveries and neonatal resuscitations as required
  • Perform procedures such as PICC line, umbilical line, and chest tube placements
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians during shifts
  • Document patient care in Epic EMR system
  • Support patient families and ensure optimal neonatal outcomes
  • Follow hospital protocols and participate in team rounds
What You Need
  • Active MI license (no new license candidates)
  • Neonatal ICU experience (minimum 2+ years preferred)
  • Certification: NRP, Neonatology Board Certified or Eligible
  • Strong clinical skills in neonatal procedures and resuscitation
  • Ability to work under supervision, with excellent teamwork skills
About the Assignment
Join a leading facility in Lansing, MI, that is currently short-staffed due to pausing of fellowship programs. This inpatient assignment involves caring for a neonatal population in a Level III NICU, with a focus on delivering excellent patient care alongside a supportive team. Credentialing is approximately 120+ days.
