American Traveler is hiring an RN
- Telemetry for a night shift position at a tertiary teaching hospital, requiring 2 years of telemetry experience and NIH Stroke Scale training.

• Nursing Float Pool position at a tertiary teaching hospital with 310 acute care beds
• Facility features cardiac programs, oncology clinical centers, women and children's health, and medical/surgical units
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities

• Active MI RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• 2 years of RN telemetry experience required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) training required
• ACLS and NIHSS certification preferred
• Compact license not accepted

• Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and heart rhythms using automated monitoring equipment such as EKGs
• Care for acutely ill patients, often stepping down from intensive care, who require close observation for heart disease or other serious conditions
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested during the assignment
• Candidates residing within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers
