Front Desk Attendant - Swimming Pools; TEA

The City of Lansing Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a friendly and responsible Front Desk Attendant to join our team at our swimming facilities.

• Must be 18 years of age at the time of hire.
• Interested candidates must provide proof of age prior to interview selection.
• Required certifications:
  • American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid for Professional Rescuers
  • American Red Cross Bloodborne Pathogens Certification
  • MI Mandated Reporter Training
• Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate their experience and competence in oral and written communication.

• Attend all pre-season and in-season trainings.
• Consistently and politely enforce city policies, rules, regulations, and ordinances governing the conduct of persons using the swimming facility.
• Correct all reported, observed, or potential physical hazards and unsafe conditions at the pool.
• Add all patrons who are not in the computer system.
• Clean front desk area, including lobby daily.
