Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant
Status: Full-time (34–40 hours per week)
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: Four 8:45 AM–6:00 PM shifts per week, one Saturday per month (8:45 AM–12:00 PM), and no major holidays

What You'll Do
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures
- Safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients
- Prepare and administer medications under veterinary supervision
- Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house laboratory procedures
- Educate clients on preventative care, nutrition, hygiene, and treatment plans
- Maintain a clean, organized hospital, including treatment areas and kennels
- Schedule appointments, assist clients, and process payments as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and support daily hospital operations
What Our Veterinary Assistants Bring
- At least one year of veterinary clinic experience required
- Compassionate animal handling and restraint skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer and telephone proficiency
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position
