Overview
At Boyne Mountain Resort, first impressions are everything — and our grounds team makes sure every guest's arrival, every walk between venues, and every view from the slopes is something worth remembering. We're looking for a team-oriented, hard-working team member to help us keep Boyne Mountain looking its absolute best, season after season. This is a physical, hands-on, outdoors-every-day kind of role.
If you're someone who finds satisfaction in a clean walkway, or a flower bed that just looks right — we'd love to have you on the team. Everything we do at Boyne Mountain is guided by our core values, L.E.A.D.S.:
Long Term Thinking, Excellence in Execution, Attitude is Everything, and Serve First. You will bring these values to each shift and to all you do at the Mountain. As a Boyne Mountain team member, there are so many awesome perks for you to take advantage of, such as: ski passes, golf passes, waterpark passes, and discounts for food, beverages, retail, daycare, and so much more!

Responsibilities- Long-Term Thinking
- Care for the resort grounds with an eye toward long-term health and appearance — planting grass, shrubs, and bushes; applying fertilizer to enhance growth; pruning trees and shrubs to keep the landscape thriving for seasons to come. - Excellence in Execution
- Maintain Boyne Mountain's irrigation systems, ensuring lawns, plants, and landscaping are properly watered and healthy. Monitor and perform minor repairs on groundskeeping equipment so nothing sits broken and forgotten. - Attitude is Everything
- You're often one of the first faces a guest sees on property. You take pride in your work and bring a positive, can-do energy to the job every day — whether the sun is shining or the weather has other ideas. - Cut lawns using hand, power, and riding mowers; trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.
- Use hand tools and landscaping equipment to maintain and improve the appearance of resort grounds.
- Remove litter, rake debris, pull weeds, and backpack-blow walkways to keep all areas clean and guest-ready.
- Identify and safely remove tree limbs that pose a safety hazard.
- Other duties as assigned by the Grounds Supervisor and Superintendent.
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You genuinely enjoy working outdoors and don't mind putting in the work whatever the weather brings.
- You're available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- You hold a valid driver's license.
- You're comfortable with a physically demanding job, including occasional lifting of 50+ pounds.
- You take pride in the details — a clean edge, a healthy shrub, a walkway that looks like nobody even had to think about it.
