Salary Range: $67,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Lansing region seeking Quality Supervisors. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train a team of quality technicians.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
• Oversee inspection activities, including incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
• Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality specifications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience supervising or leading a team of quality technicians or inspectors.
• Strong understanding and practical application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA, CSSBB)
• Experience with ISO 9001 implementation or auditing
• Familiarity with specific industry quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100)
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
