Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector Team Assistant (ITA) to support inspection and quality operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for monitoring inspection workflows, evaluating team performance, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards. The ITA plays a key role in quality planning, material control, auditing processes, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor inspection team workflow to ensure adherence to customer-specific requirements and quality standards
- Evaluate inspector performance and provide structured feedback to leadership
- Support execution of quality planning, assembly, and inspection processes
- Ensure proper segregation, documentation, and control of non-conforming and scrap materials
- Coordinate with logistics teams to maintain accurate material flow and inventory control
- Perform scrap analysis and generate reports
- Assist with Layered Process Audits (LPA) and internal quality audits
- Support calibration verification and inspection equipment control processes
- Maintain accurate inspection records in compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
- Contribute to corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives
- Support document control and data integrity procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or plant environment
- 2–3 years of team leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Hands‑on experience using precision inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, height gages)
- Strong understanding of quality inspection principles, measurement techniques, and calibration processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including customer interaction
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality reporting tools
- Ability to work in a factory or warehouse setting while following safety and quality standards
- Technical training in manufacturing, quality systems, or a related field preferred
- Certifications in QMS, ISO standards, or AS9102 are a plus
