The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Lansing that are seeking skilled Quality Technicians. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection, measuring, and test equipment.
- Document and report quality data, including non-conformances and corrective actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
- Assist with the development and revision of quality control plans and work instructions.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; associate's degree in a technical field preferred
- 2+ years experience in a manufacturing quality role
- Proficient in using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
