Analytical Laboratory Chemist

One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a detail-oriented Analytical Laboratory Chemist to join their laboratory team in Oscoda, MI
.

Pay Rate: $40K - $60K

Shift: Day Shift

• Perform chemical and analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation, including GC, HPLC, ICP, UV-Vis, FTIR, and other analytical equipment as required
• Analyze laboratory data, prepare reports, and communicate findings to production, quality, and engineering teams
• Investigate product quality issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Ensure laboratory testing complies with established SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and standards for laboratory testing and analysis
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, documentation, and test results in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
• 2+ years of analytical laboratory experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environment
• Experience operating analytical instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP, FTIR, UV-Vis, or similar laboratory equipment
• Strong understanding of analytical testing methods, laboratory procedures, and quality control practices
• Ability to interpret laboratory data and prepare accurate technical reports
