Accounts Payable ​/ Receivable Specialist

Job Description Position Overview

AR/AP Specialist providing bookkeeping services for commercial portfolio. This position will work within the accounting department and receive training and guidance from Controller.

• Deposit tenant checks via check scanner
• Record checks received to tenant ledgers within Yardi software
• Import and code invoices into Yardi Payscan
• Process and manage weekly check run
• Assist Property Management and Accounting departments with tenant ledger questions
• Assist Controller and CFO with special projects and become trusted resource

• Proficiency in a Windows environment, with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Yardi experience preferred.

• High School Graduate
• Preferred college courses in accounting, finance, or related field
• Preferred 1-3 years of experience in a property management accounting environment

• Client Service mentality
• Must be a team player with a strong work ethic
• Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
