Job Summary:

This is an entry-level Micro Lab Technician role within the Quality Control unit. The position supports testing and release of raw materials, finished goods, and environmental samples while working as part of a collaborative laboratory team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, finished products, and environmental samples
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Prepare media and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and test methods
• Assist with laboratory cleaning and upkeep
• Participate in team rotations and meetings
• Communicate issues or deviations to leadership

Required Skills:

• Laboratory experience (academic or industry)
• Ability to follow SOPs and testing procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/sit for extended periods
• Valid State of Michigan driver's license

Skills:

• GMP microbiology laboratory experience
• Flexible and team-oriented mindset
• Tools/Environment:
  Microbiology laboratory within a Quality Control setting
• Hands-on work with lab equipment, media preparation, and testing procedures
