PositionSummary
We are looking for talented Premium Suite Runners to follow directions from the F&B Supervisor and deliver a unique hospitality food and beverage service offering for our premium suites. You will be part of a team that strives to exceed expectations.
Due to scheduled working hours, all applicants must be 18+. This is a casual role offering flexible shifts around other commitments, including evenings and weekends. The role pays an hourly rate of $14.00 and is tip eligible.

About The VenueLocated in the heart of downtown Lansing, Jackson Field is the home of the Lansing Lugnuts and a first-rate baseball facility with seating for over 12,000 fans.
Responsibilities- Assist with setup of food service areas within specific suites and club areas based on pre-orders.
- Ensure all assigned suites are set prior to events based on order communications.
- Organize and prepare events in assigned locations.
- Monitor and maintain food quality.
- Follow company policies and procedures, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and create a positive atmosphere for team members and guests.
- Monitor and enforce safe alcohol policies and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain inventory control and product requisition fulfillment.
- Have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments.
- Supervise the service of beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages. Check guest IDs to verify minimum age for alcohol.
- Observe guests and respond to additional requests.
- Ensure suites have all necessary serving ware.
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
- Demonstrate excellent attendance as required by the company standard.
- Ensure location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of events.
- Recognize guests who are visibly intoxicated and take appropriate action to cut off alcohol.
- All other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with employees, volunteers, management, and guests to foster a positive, cooperative work environment.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
- Ability to perform basic math functions as they relate to POS transactions, cash reconciliation, and inventory.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a food & beverage or customer service role.
