Part-Time | Hourly + Tips

Position Summary

Round Barn Public House is seeking energetic, knowledgeable, and guest-focused Bartenders to join our fast-paced hospitality team.

Bartenders are responsible for preparing and serving cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering friendly, efficient, and engaging service. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume environment, stays organized under pressure, and takes pride in product knowledge, cleanliness, and responsible alcohol service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Provide prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service to bar and restaurant guests.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Round Barn beverage offerings and current food menu.
  • Accurately enter orders and process payments through the POS system.
  • Verify identification and follow all responsible alcohol service requirements.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and help maintain a safe, enjoyable environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service.
  • Restock liquor, beer, wine, glassware, ice, garnishes, and other supplies.
  • Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and assigned side-work duties.
  • Communicate effectively with Servers, Food Runners, Kitchen Staff, and management.
  • Support the team during high-volume service and special events.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Previous bartending, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits strongly preferred.
  • Strong guest service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to frequently bend, reach, lift, and carry.
  • Ability to safely handle beverage cases, glassware, ice, and bar supplies.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant and bar environment.
