to ensure that the students receive the correct meals they ordered, their accounts remain up to date, and to keep food service staff properly informed of meals needed for daily operations.

• responsible for the daily collection and entering of all meal pre-picks into the meal magic system.
• responsible for entering and recording all cash deposits into students’ accounts.
• responsible for compiling and reconciling all cash with daily report and prepare deposit for pickup at the end of the day.
• responsible for ringing up breakfast, lunch or a la carte meals.
• responsible for the generation of negative account balance letters/emails and distribute to parents weekly.
• responsible for monthly distribution of menus and order sheets.
• answers questions from parents regarding their student’s account.
• assist students when students have forgotten their meal.
• responsible for the distribution of free/reduced meal applications and forward completed applications to the administration building.
• responsible for keeping the food server updated with daily absences and any meal changes at the beginning of the day.
• responsible for compiling list of field trip meals for the food service department and adjust in meal magic system to reflect these changes.
• responsible for providing a pre-notice to the food service department of events that may affect meal counts.
• responsible for the confidentiality of information regarding students’ free/reduced status in accordance with usda regulations.
• responsible for the safe handling of cash in accordance with district deposit procedures.l="">
• responsible for maintaining proper meal supporting documentation in accordance with district and federal regulations.
