Merchandising Swing RepresentativeWe are seeking a Merchandising Swing Representative for our Retail Chain Sales Division to service multiple accounts in and surrounding areas of Lansing.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Merchandising Swing Rep is responsible for timely stocking and handling all GLWAS merchandise shipped to an assigned retail account. Duties include packing orders, pricing bottles, building displays, resetting shelf and cold‑box schematics, and implementing correct signage, rotation, product fronting, dusting, and adherence to all housekeeping standards.
- Generate positive business relationships with the management, buyer, owner, or decision maker at assigned accounts.
- Maintain good product knowledge of all GLWAS brands and continually improve wine/beverage/category expertise while enhancing store presentation.
- Execute shelf, display, and cold‑box standards set by GLWAS, suppliers, and the account, including stocking/pack‑out policies.
- Ensure all shelf price tags are correct and in place at month start.
- Ensure all display prices are correct and current.
- Maintain and place all current POS for all products.
- Maintain and use reports, forms, and pre‑plans.
Full‑time position with daytime hours that vary by schedule Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend hours may be required based on holiday schedules and business needs.
Work Environment & Physical DemandsField‑based role with daily travel and driving in all weather conditions. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, climbing, lifting, stacking, moving, and rotating items without handles weighing up to 50 pounds. Pushing and pulling carts with up to 100 pounds of force and operating warehouse equipment may be required.
Starting Pay & Position- $37,500.00 starting base salary

- Minimum age of 21 years
- High School Diploma or GED;
Bachelor’s degree preferred - Basic competency with iOS devices
- 2 years of sales experience (preferred)
- Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee policy manual and applicable contracts, agreements, and work rules.
- Cooperate with all GLWAS management and staff.
- Follow all MLCC rules and regulations, as they apply.
- Use alcohol responsibly when related to business activities.
