We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Business Development Representative (Recon) to join our team in Mississauga. This field‑based role focuses on the early stage of the sales process, conducting on‑site roof reviews, preparing initial reports and quotes, and qualifying opportunities for our Sales Closers.
The ideal candidate has a background in construction, project management, or safety, enjoys working in the field, and thrives on building relationships and uncovering new opportunities.
This is a full‑time, in‑office/field‑based role reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct face‑to‑face roof reviews and site meetings with potential clients.
- Prepare roof reports and initial project quotes.
- Schedule client meetings (via Teams or in‑person) to review findings.
- Hand off qualified opportunities to the Sales Closer team for follow‑up and conversion.
- Maintain accurate CRM records of conversations, activities, and outcomes.
- Track weekly performance metrics, including roof reviews, client conversations, and opportunities generated.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience and effective territory coverage.
- 8‑10 years of business development or sales experience ideally in construction, project management, or safety industries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable in client‑facing situations.
- Organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple site visits per week.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for client visits.

Travel is required for this position; therefore, candidates must have access to a reliable vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
