Position Overview
This Territory Manager role supports Cencora's MWI Animal Health division by driving sales of products and equipment to veterinarians and other livestock customers within a designated territory.
Primary Responsibilities- Call on target/current and prospective customers to generate sales, increase market share, and improve income.
- Use sales tools including MWI e‑mail, promotions in Outlook, and the MWI Territory Manager website.
- Understand customer needs and select products/services to meet those needs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with veterinarians and clinics.
- Plan and execute call cycles, reviewing sales analysis and supplier reports.
- Share call cycle information (account number, name, location, day of week) with ISR and Regional Manager.
- Stay current on product and service lines, demonstrating competency in MWI sales programs.
- Respond to customer communications and detail new products/promotions.
- Submit timely reporting and meet sales goals and budgets by territory and manufacturer.
- Act as a resource for inventory, equipment, and product issues, coordinating with MWI personnel and vendors.
- Maintain vehicle in a professional manner.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- One to three years of relevant industry or sales experience, preferably in animal health.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills with proven selling ability.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
