Position:
Factory Sales Representative (Michigan)

Full‑time position working with dealers and end‑users in Michigan. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter, organized, and logical thinker.

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain, expand, evaluate, and work with the Grasshopper dealer network.
  • Demonstrate Grasshopper equipment.
  • Visit dealers on a timely basis.
  • Assist dealers in promotion of Grasshopper products.
  • Assist in collections as needed.
  • Call on end users as necessary.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Clean driving record and safety‑awareness attitude.
  • Compliance with all FMCSA and DOT requirements.
  • Willingness to travel on the road daily, including frequent overnight trips.
  • Self‑motivated with a strong desire to sell.
  • Ability to work more than 40 hours a week.
  • Completion of all required factory reports on schedule.
  • Knowledge of Grasshopper equipment and competitor equipment.
  • Ability to evaluate prospective dealers and analyze existing dealers.
  • Ability to define goals and objectives with dealers.
  • Experience in the outdoor power equipment industry is a plus.
  • Computer experience is a must.

Company vehicle, trailer, and demonstrator will be provided.
