Job OverviewAs a Business Development Representative for Pella, your ultimate goal is influencing residential and commercial architects across Michigan to specify Pella Windows and Doors as the proprietary product of choice on their projects. You will accomplish this through building trust, forming close working relationships, and applying learned product knowledge with both current customers and new prospects. Your development work leads to sold projects, which are guided through to close in partnership with our sales representatives, completing the sales cycle.
Responsibilities- Initiate and maintain relationships with residential and commercial architects and designers.
- Build trust quickly through personal rapport and learned product knowledge. Deliver product demonstrations and discuss tailored solutions for design opportunities.
- Influence specification of Pella as the only brand of windows and doors to be used for your architects' projects.
- Stay close to your projects and customers, following through on important details and timely communications throughout the sales cycle to ensure a close to the sale, successful delivery of product, complete customer satisfaction, and repeat business.
- Be genuine, knowledgeable, honest, likable, and persuasive.
- Build quick and lasting rapport with customers. Be welcomed into architect offices and jobsites.
- Always seek new business relationships through networking.
- Stay organized, follow through, and take personal responsibility for the details that are important to our customers.
- Work creatively to win high potential opportunities.
- Demonstrate determination with 2+ years in a current role: engaging with customers in a sales, account management, service, or brand ambassador capacity.
