Position: Cardiovascular Disease Specialist - Terre Haute, IN

Job Description

As a Cardiovascular Disease Specialist, you will drive meaningful patient impact by leveraging our scientific expertise and serve as the primary contact for customers within your assigned territory. As a key member of the local Customer Team, you collaborate closely with Account Executives, Integrated Delivery Systems leaders, and other field colleagues to deliver seamless, patient‑focused solutions.

Territory Assignment

This field‑based sales role covers Terre Haute, Indiana and surrounding areas, including Bloomington, IN;
Terre Haute, IN;
Greenwood, IN;
Columbus, IN;
Franklin, IN. Over 25% of the time may involve overnight travel.

Position Overview

Develop and manage relationships with cardiologists, primary‑care providers, and other health‑care professionals. Engage in regular interactions in physicians’ offices, integrated delivery systems, pharmacies, and hospital clinics to execute responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory‑level business plan in alignment with company policies and ethics.
  • Maintain current product knowledge and certifications for the company’s portfolio.
  • Conduct balanced and compliant product sales discussions with healthcare providers and business professionals to align customer needs with company products according to labeling.
  • Provide management with regular updates on customer needs, marketplace dynamics, and progress toward quality goals.
  • Be knowledgeable about headquarter‑approved information regarding company products, disease, and marketplace.
  • Monitor business performance against objectives using company tools to support effective planning and sales impact.
Qualifications
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience (S1) or three years of sales experience (S2).
  • Background in sales, marketing, military service, or healthcare/biotechnology fields.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze complex data and develop strategic sales plans.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and platforms to engage with healthcare professionals.
  • Adaptable to changing market conditions and customer expectations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills with proven success in educational and professional environments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships by understanding and addressing their needs effectively.
Preferred Experience and Skills
  • Experience in sales, account management, consultative roles, or customer service.
  • Analysis of metrics to evaluate progress toward goals.
  • Minimum three years of relevant sales experience.
  • Cardiovascular sales experience with relationships with cardiologists and endocrinologists.
  • Experience launching products and succeeding in competitive markets.
  • Ability to simplify complex information and convey technical details clearly.
  • Proficient in advanced analytics to generate customer insights and drive sales.
  • Comfortable leveraging multi‑channel tools and technology to expand sales reach and impact.
  • Proactive learning approach and agile growth mindset.
Salary Range

S1: $79,200 – $124,700
S2: $106,200 – $167,200
