Sales Manager - Powertrain Systems

Job Description

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager specializing in Automotive Powertrain to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a sales team, driving revenue growth, and developing key client relationships. Leveraging your industry contacts, technical expertise and understanding of powertrain systems, you will collaborate with engineering and sales team to provide tailored solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets
• Establish sales territories, quotas, and goals for the sales team
• Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement and optimize performance
• Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting
• Report on team and individual performance
• Develop and execute innovative sales plans to expand the customer base
• Build and form new partnerships with potential clients
• Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team
• Collaborate with engineering and product development to enhance sales strategies

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Automotive Powertrain systems with outside sales, account management, or related field
• Capital equipment sales to OEM and Tier One clients
• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing a sales team
• Strong ability to build rapport with clients, negotiate and close deals effectively
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long‑term relationships
• Ability to analyze sales data and market trends

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Experience:

Minimum of 10years in related field
