As a Security Officer at DK Security, you will ensure the safety and security of our clients’ properties.

Responsibilities include:

• Customer Service:
  Assist client staff, visitors, and coworkers while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Observe and Report:
  Stay alert for suspicious activities and incidents.
• Security Presence:
  Stand guard in and around building lobbies, reception areas, control centers, etc.
• Conduct Patrolling:
  Perform foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned areas.
• Access Control:
  Prevent unauthorized entry into restricted areas; verify IDs and follow access procedures.
• Safety Patrol:
  Enforce policies and procedures, reporting safety concerns.
• Emergency Response:
  Provide CPR/First Aid/AED care and communicate with emergency personnel.
• Security Liaison:
  Communicate with client staff, follow through on requests, and update site supervisor/operations manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

Various days (Monday – Sunday) – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

$17.60 per hour. This is an unarmed security position; weapons are not permitted on the premises.

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be able to pass a drug screening at hire and periodically thereafter.
• Must not have been convicted of any felonies or misdemeanors related to dishonesty, fraud, or violence (see MCL 338.1060).
• Physically fit to sit, stand, walk, and lift at least 50 lbs (70 lbs for armed work).
• Must be CPR, First Aid, and AED certified (or willing to obtain).
• Must have clear vision (20/20 or with corrective lenses) and hearing sufficient to converse in loud environments.
• Must be able to use a smartphone or computer for email and online training.
• Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Professional with excellent customer service skills, personal integrity, and a positive attitude.
• Must complete required trainings on time and adhere to all client and company policies.

Individuals on active disciplinary probation, previously removed from this contract, or on probation at separation are not eligible.

High School Diploma or GED.
