Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities;
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the healthcare location;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel as needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, observing conditions, reporting unusual activity, and supporting security-related operations throughout varying work environments;
Assist with visitor management, badge issuance, and/or screening procedures while maintaining professional communication and following post orders for sensitive healthcare areas
