Security Officer Part‑Time Ingress Monitor (Lansing, MI). As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, including Healthcare. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to build your own schedule through our Claim‑a‑Shift platform.

Part Time

$19.00 per hour

• Saturday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help manage authorized entry, verify credentials, and report unusual or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting security‑related concerns and reporting maintenance, access, and/or environmental issues.
• Support day‑to‑day healthcare location operations by assisting with visitor direction, screening processes, and other security‑related duties aligned with post orders.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applications with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
