The Sign Installer is a individual who is not afraid of rewarding physical labor, travel, and working autonomously on a crew of two. This position requires travel to installation/building sites where you will be assisting in the installation, repair, and maintenance of signs and sign structures.

• Handling materials such as wood, metals, electrical & lighting components, and vinyl.
• Assisting in the installation of new signs and sign structures.
• Assisting in removing and replacing parts of signs.
• Learning how to safely operate cranes and other aerial equipment and trucks.
• Restocking inventory and general cleaning of installation equipment.
• Documenting travel and work procedures.

• Physical, outdoor work – sometimes involving extreme heat and cold.
• Working on aerial platforms and high-above-ground equipment.
• Out-of-town work at installation sites, often for a couple of days at a time.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical aptitude (reading a tape measure, using basic tools and equipment, etc.)
• 1+ years of construction and/or electrical experience preferred.
• Dependable self-starter who can stay on task with little supervision

• CDL Class-A drivers license within 6 months upon being hired.
• OSHA Crane & Aerial Equipment Certification withing 3 years of being hired.
• Michigan Limited Sign Electrical License within 5 years of being hired.
• Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen.

This is a full-time position based in Kalamazoo, MI
