HVAC Refrigeration Service Technician

Nextech HVAC/R Technician will deliver reliable, high-quality service to commercial clients. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing HVAC/R systems, performing maintenance and emergency service, documenting work with company iPads, maintaining vehicle and tools, communicating with customers and dispatch, and identifying additional service opportunities.

Up to $2,000 for qualified candidates.

USD $28.00 – $40.00 per hour.

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician
• EPA certification and a valid driver’s license
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans
• Comfort with mobile apps and technology
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed

• Must be able to safely work at heights using ladders up to 28‑32 feet and operate equipment within manufacturer weight limits
• Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver tools and equipment, including extension ladders, up to 100 lbs
• Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach into confined spaces, and perform twisting, pushing, and pulling tasks
• Must maintain physical stamina and endurance for repetitive tasks and extended activity
• Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and climb ladders throughout the day
• Must use vision, hearing, and verbal communication continuously
• Must operate work‑related equipment such as iPads, cell phones, and computers
• Must be able to travel to customer sites as needed
• Required to occasionally work in an office environment
• Required to follow all applicable safety procedures
