Location:
East End Plumbing | Grand Rapids, MI | Full-Time or Part Time| In-Person
Salary or hourly (Based on Experience) + Full Benefits (very flexible role in terms of pay, open to full or part time)
Monday–Friday | No On-Call | No Weekends | No Overnights

Your Role as a Class II Mechanical License Holder Technical Expertise & Field Leadership- Provide expert-level troubleshooting, code-compliant installations, and high-quality repairs
- Guide and mentor journeymen and apprentices on best practices and problem-solving
- Oversee workmanship and job quality, ensuring every install meets or exceeds local code
- Assist with job walkthroughs, material planning, and crew coordination
- Collaborate with estimators to ensure accurate scopes and labor forecasting
- Ensure jobs are delivered on time, on budget, and without callbacks
- Support the hiring process by evaluating technical and cultural fit of new team members
- Champion safety, training, and continuous improvement
- Work closely with leadership to develop SOPs, systems, and scalable processes as we grow
- Mechanical License - Class 2 (Required)
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Residential plumbing experience is a plus— Service and Projects!
- Knowledge of permitting, inspection processes, and code compliance
- Solid customer service and communication skills
- Tech‑savvy:
Can use tablets / laptops, software, and online permitting tools confidently
