Trim Carpenter and Cabinet Refacing

Kitchen Tune-Up is seeking a Trim Carpenter to work on kitchen remodeling projects in West Michigan and Mid-Michigan. Experience with cabinet refacing and new cabinet installation is strongly encouraged. This is a full‑time position with opportunity for growth. The starting rate is $22-$27 per hour, with further opportunity available after a 90‑day probationary period.

Work is indoors and a great way to stay out of the summer heat and winter cold.

• Arrive to the jobsite on time in a logo‑branded shirt and appropriate work clothing.
• Follow instructions from the project manager.

• Keep the work area clean and orderly and clean up daily.
• Communicate with the project manager daily about progress.
• Work quickly and efficiently.

• Experience in cabinet refacing preferred.
• Ability to cut moldings and install crown molding.
• Able to drill for and install handles, doors, drawer fronts, and roll‑out trays in cabinets.
• Ability to safely operate power hand tools including a table saw, band saw, power hand saw, router, planer, and powered nail gun.
• Must be able to work in Grand Rapids and surrounding communities.
• Must be able to interact with customers on a professional and friendly level.
• Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a verifiable good driving record and no physical limitations to perform the tasks required.
• Must have own transportation.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
