Field/Service Technician, Installation Technician
As a Traveling Electrical Installer here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced technical support and expertise to our customers in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions, and driving customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for customers on the electrical side
- Travel to customer sites throughout the US, heavy travel, up to 90% of time
- Conduct equipment electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Provide technical support and expertise to customers in the field
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and documentation
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in field service electrical installation.
- Willingness to travel and be on the road up to 90% of the time, you will be visiting customer sites throughout the US.
- 1 year of problem solving and electrical troubleshooting.
- 1 year of experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelors or Associates Degree
- Advanced certificate in electrical field, Master's License, Journeyman License
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry advancements
- Results-oriented approach and ability to drive projects to successful completion
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Experience in project management and execution
- Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships
