HVAC Installer

A-1 Mechanical is on the lookout for skilled Residential New Construction HVAC Installers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in installation of HVAC systems and their required accessories, demonstrating expertise in quality standards and mechanical code requirements.

• Install HVAC equipment, gas piping, flex and sheet metal duct systems, copper refrigerant lines, and wire low- and line-voltage connections to heating and cooling equipment.
• Execute brazing and soldering of copper refrigerant lines with precision and care.
• Manage inventory on company vehicles, ensuring all parts are stocked and organized.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with company representatives, adhering to builder schedules and providing clear explanations.
• Complete all paperwork accurately at the end of each day.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
• Receive on‑the‑job training if no prior HVAC experience.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with no major infractions for 4+ years.
• Ability to pass a physical exam, drug screening, and background check.
• Physical capability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work weekends, late nights, and overtime as needed.

• Paying up to $25.00 per hour, with variations based on experience.
