As the Maintenance Technician, you will be a key team player in the upkeep of the property by responding to service requests and completing repairs promptly while possessing a strong background in plumbing, general carpentry, and appliance repairs.

• Maintain cleanliness of property by maintaining and repairing issues across parking lot, buildings, and all common areas
• Clean out vacated apartments
• Assist the Groundskeeper with service requests as needed
• Address issues with landscaping and snow/ice removal
• Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers even in difficult situations
• Operate computers and other technological devices to access email and company software
• Meet task deadlines as assigned

• Provides exemplary customer service to all residents proactively solving issues, and creating a warm and welcoming environment for all.
• Maintains the physical condition of the property.
• Utilizes hand tools and power tools to participate in upkeep.
• Picks up debris and removes other objects from the property.
• Responds to issues outside of normal work schedule when required.
• Professional and timely responses to all work orders.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• Required:
  • Must hold at least one of the following certifications, or obtain within 60 days of employment:
  • EPA Section 608 Certification (HVAC)
  • HVAC Certification (e.g., HVAC Excellence or equivalent)

• Frequently sit, stand and walk.
• Regularly required to talk or hear.
• Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
• Temperature in the workplace typically moderate; ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat outdoors required.

• Travel up to 10% of the time.
