Building Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

Maintenance Technician supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. Partners with team members and mobile engineers in maintenance and repair efforts.

• Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and components.
• Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as-found conditions impacting client occupancy and operations.
• General interior maintenance—hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems and doors.
• Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building equipment.
• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.
• Replace lighting and ballasts.
• Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts.
• Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo, updating work orders in real time.
• Maintain compliance with State, County, or City ordinances, codes, or laws.
• Perform any other duties and tasks assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1‑3 years of applicable experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
• Licenses as required by authority having jurisdiction.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and climb up to 30 ft ladders.
• Frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving expected.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
