Maintenance Journeyman Technician (2nd & 3rd Shift)
This role focuses on repairing, maintaining, and improving all equipment used in the production of die cast parts. You will work on a wide range of machinery, including die cast machines, presses, robots, electric melting furnaces and pre-heaters, CNC equipment, and related assembly systems. The position requires strong troubleshooting abilities across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with a particular emphasis on PLCs and industrial robots.
EssentialSkills
- Proven troubleshooting skills and knowledge across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing production equipment such as die cast machines, presses, robots, furnaces, CNC equipment, and assembly machinery.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including working with control circuits, sensors, motors, and industrial power distribution.
- Hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills, including interpreting hydraulic schematics and servicing pumps, valves, and actuators.
- Pneumatic troubleshooting and repair skills, including working with air circuits, valves, cylinders, and related components.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical failures, align equipment, and replace wear components.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and pneumatic drawings.
- Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC systems, including the ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and control logic-related issues.
- Knowledge of Motoman and ABB robots, including troubleshooting and basic programming or setup for automated processes.
- Willingness and ability to work 2nd shift (2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.) or 3rd shift (10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.), including every other weekend as part of a rotating schedule.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lansing, MI.
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $77459.00/yr. 3 medical plan options:
- Option one:
