Maintenance Mechanic
The role of the Maintenance Mechanic is to provide the necessary skill sets required to perform the maintenance and repairs to preserve the physical assets of the Building, Systems, and Equipment under the direction of the Facility and Operations Managers.
Areas of responsibilities may include:
- Manufacturing Process Equipment
- Cold/Hot Thermal Units
- Mechanical Systems Diagnosis & Repair
- Mechanical Systems
- HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilating, Air conditioning and Refrigeration)
- Power Systems
- Building Systems
Measurables & Objectives:
- Safety Related Objectives
- Client Scorecard
- Employee Safety Training Compliance
- Safety PM Completion
- Safety Repair Completion
- Utilize Pre-Task Planning Methods
Performance Measurables:
- Help Desk Immediate Work Orders > 24 hrs
- PM Completion
- Environmental PM Completion & Reporting
- PM Repair Completion
- Perform General Housekeeping in Common Work Areas
Personnel Management:
- Maintain Current Fork truck & Aerial Lift Operators License
- Attend Scheduled Training
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Completion of an applicable technical training program, desirable.
- Minimum of one year of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, and basic plumbing and electrical.
- Excellent communication skills in English – both oral and written.
- Ability to comply with both Jones Lang LaSalle and client-directed Policies & Procedures.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
- Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
PHYSICAL WORK ABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
- This position requires frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working/extending overhead, including:
- Lifting a minimum of 80 lbs.
- Using ladders up to 30 ft and working from heights.
- Climbing a ladder with a 300-lb weight limit while carrying a tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs.
