Compensation: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour based on experience level, plus benefits

Spartan Irrigation has been serving Michigan since 1976, and we're looking for a dependable, mechanically minded Irrigation Service Technicians to join our team. If you enjoy working outdoors, troubleshooting problems, working with your hands, and seeing the results of a job well done, we want to talk with you.

Irrigation experience is a plus, but strong mechanical skills and a willingness to learn are just as important. We provide hands‑on training and opportunities to advance.

$19-$27/hour based on experience and qualifications, plus:

• Install, Inspect, troubleshoot, service, and repair irrigation systems.
• Diagnose leaks, coverage issues, electrical problems, and system malfunctions.
• Repair or replace sprinkler heads, valves, piping, controllers, wiring, and other components.
• Adjust and program irrigation systems for proper coverage and performance.
• Perform seasonal system start-ups, maintenance, and winterization.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely.
• Communicate professionally with customers about repairs and service recommendations.
• Complete service documentation and maintain an organized company vehicle, tools, and equipment.
• Deliver the quality workmanship and customer service Spartan Irrigation is known for.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving ability.
• Experience with tools and mechanical equipment.
• Irrigation, landscaping, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, construction, or maintenance experience is a plus.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical field work.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Must be 21 or older and meet company driving requirements.
