As a Youth Specialist with Samaritas youll provide direct supervision and support to refugee youth in a residential settinghelping them feel safe valued and empowered to thrive

• Create a family like environment that models positive behaviors and expectations
• Assist youth with daily routinesmeal prep medication administration skill building and activities
• Provide safe transportation to appointments and monitor overnight activity
• Be a trusted mentor and advocate for youth navigating trauma displacement and cultural adjustment

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to learn de escalation techniques and become CPRFirst Aid certified
• Direct care experience in mental health or working with vulnerable populations preferred
• Bi lingual in Spanish strongly preferred
• Must be 21 years or older have a valid drivers license reliable transportation and meet vaccine requirements
