Employment Type:
Full-Time, Hybrid of office and online; may require travel to courts or partner agencies; varied hours based on court schedules.
Pay Rate: $20 Per Hour
SummaryThe Court Case Manager supports clients navigating the court system by managing case-related logistics, coordinating with legal counsel and courts, monitoring case progress, and providing case planning and resource linkage to support successful outcomes.
Responsibilities- Maintain and manage client case files, ensuring accuracy and timely updates in the case management system.
- Monitor court dates, file deadlines, and legal requirements; coordinate scheduling and reminders for clients.
- Prepare and assemble court documents, exhibits, and supporting materials; assist clients with completing necessary paperwork.
- Liaise with specialty court team members to ensure accurate information is received by the court team.
- Provide case planning, referrals, and resource linkage (housing, mental health, substance use treatment, employment, benefits).
- Conduct client check-ins to assess needs, compliance, and progress; document interactions and outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality, comply with legal/ethical standards, and participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice, paralegal studies, or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
- 2+ years of experience in case management, legal support, court navigation, or social services.
- Familiarity with court procedures, legal terminology, and document filing preferred.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with case management databases and standard office software.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain composure in stressful situations, and work with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of community resources and social service systems.
- Trauma-informed, client-centered approach.
- Bilingual skills (desired but not necessary)
- Basic understanding of confidentiality and data security protocols.
