Senior Software Solution Architect – Rhapsody Developer & Admin

Type: 1-year contract (possible extension)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid –
Onsite 2 days/week upon start
. No remote only option. Accepting local and non-local candidates willing to relocate at their own expense.

Pay Range: $55-65 -/+ (variable dependent)

• Health Rhapsody Integration Engine 7.x
• Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK) – custom filters, mappers
• Custom message translation between formats (JSON, XML, HL7 legacy/proprietary)
• SOAP, REST, OAUTH, TCP connections, LLP
• Transport encryption/security:
  TLS, mutual authentication via certificates
• Java Script

• Rhapsody Certification
• Experience with CDA mapping and conversions
• Experience developing API calls (SOAP, REST, web services)
• Experience developing TCP/HTTP/LLP/OAUTH connections
• Experience with EDI message designer
• Experience preparing SDLC/SUITE documentation

Our key client seeks two Software Solution Architects to support Rhapsody Health Services Development & Operations. One role is more development focused; the other is more operations/admin focused. Both positions share the same required skills and support the same team.

The architects will support the Health Services ESB, enabling message transmission tracking and providing related integration services for systems connecting to the Data Hub.

The role is integral to:

• Maintaining and enhancing automated processes
• Ensuring SEM/SUITE compliance
• Supporting data integrity and securing applications
• Providing oversight for BA teams and partner application teams integrating with the Health Enterprise Service Bus (HESB)

Lack of this resource may delay delivery of crucial enhancements and maintenance work for major systems including MDSS, EDRS, myHB/myHP, MCIR, MiHIN, MPHI, and others.

• Develop solutions for new integration use cases
• Develop interfaces based on business requirements & technical specifications
• Create technical requirements and system design documentation
• Build custom filters using Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK)
• Create mappers and mapper definitions using EDI message designer
• Write JavaScript using JS v1 and JS v2 Rhapsody filters
• Build API integrations (SOAP, REST, web services)
• Translate data formats including HL7v2, HL7v3, FHIR, CCDA, XML, JSON, flat files
• Perform CDA mapping and conversions
• Prepare SUITE SDLC code review documentation
• Create database connections for MSSQL or Oracle
• Configure connections (TCP, HTTP, LLP, OAUTH)
• Own overall system design, configuration, and codebase
• Work within the enterprise ESB to support interfaces and message routing
