Software Engineer, Java Developer
Seeking a Full‑Stack Java Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience building high‑quality web applications using Java, Spring Boot, modern frameworks, and agile development practices.
Must Haves / Mandatory- 3+ years as a Software Engineer with strong hands‑on Java/Spring Boot development
- Experience building UI and server‑side components using approved frameworks
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and relational databases
- Proficiency with testing frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber), ORM / MVC frameworks, and RESTful API development
- Experience debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues
- Experience with Java messaging technologies
- Experience with stored procedures and SQL tuning
- Participation in engineering communities of practice or internal knowledge‑sharing groups
- Strong software engineering foundation with hands‑on experience building scalable applications using Java (SE & EE), Spring Boot, REST APIs, and modern frameworks.
- Skilled in testing methodologies and tools including Selenium, Cucumber, and other automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledgeable in distributed systems, service‑oriented architecture, microservices, relational databases, and troubleshooting within a production environments.
- Experienced in agile methodologies such as Scrum, feature‑driven development, and collaborative engineering workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education / experience.
- Develop both user interface and server‑side components using approved frameworks while producing clean, high‑quality code.
- Participate in design and code reviews, identifying improvements and resolving complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure system performance, standards alignment, and scalable architecture.
- Contribute to internal learning initiatives and communities of practice to support continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, security, and privacy standards across development activities.
