Programmer Analyst 4 (Java Full Stack Developer)

Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid – Onsite Mondays & Tuesdays)

Duration: 12 Months Contract with Possible Extension

• 5+ years of experience with Java development
• 5+ years of experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot
• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server and database development
• 5+ years of experience with SSRS
• 5+ years working in Hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments
• 5+ years of experience with Hibernate/JPA
• 5+ years of experience with Java IDEs such as Eclipse and STS
• 5+ years of experience with Java JEE Struts Framework
• 3+ years of experience with Azure Dev Ops (ADO)
• 3+ years of experience developing database objects including Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, and Tables
• 3+ years of experience with Angular and/or React.js
• 3+ years of experience with JBOSS Enterprise SOA environment
• 3+ years using CMM/CMMI Level 3 methodologies
• 2+ years implementing Agile development processes and Test-Driven Development (TDD)

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level Java applications
• Develop RESTful APIs using Spring MVC and Spring Boot
• Develop and optimize SQL Server database objects and queries
• Troubleshoot application and database issues
• Create technical specifications, flowcharts, prototypes, and design documents
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Utilize Azure Dev Ops for backlog management, sprint planning, and task tracking
• Integrate software components into fully functional systems
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams
• Maintain source control using Git and build deployments using Maven
• Support application deployments on Tomcat, JBOSS, Web Sphere, and Open Shift environments
