Location:

Lansing, MI

Contract position – 3 months, start July 13, 2026.

• Hands‑on CRM development supporting crisis call workflows for the Michigan Crisis Line (MICAL); coding and delivering user stories.
• Work with colleagues, customers, and end users to define technical requirements for new projects and future enhancements.
• Ensure technical requirements align with customer requirements, performance goals, and long‑term strategy.
• Own release cycles to implement and deploy new or updated applications and code.
• Oversee technical aspects of project environments.
• Compile internal development guidelines/standards and ensure team adherence.
• Collaborate with developers for other systems to integrate across the business.
• Ensure solutions adhere to SOM security guidelines and standards throughout the application life cycle.
• Deliver business value by leveraging technology; communicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level and be a trusted voice at decision‑making.
• Devise a training plan for the development team to transition to maintenance and operations.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong knowledge and working experience in Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Experience throughout the full  lifecycle implementations.
• In‑depth understanding of Salesforce capabilities and constraints.
• Hands‑on experience in writing Apex, Visualforce, Apex triggers, Aura components, and Lightning Web Components.
• Experience using configurational tools such as Flows, Process Builder, and workflow rules.
• Collaborate with technical managers, architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and lead technical solutions.
• Hands‑on experience integrating Salesforce with cloud‑based and on‑premises applications using REST APIs.
• Experience with core web technologies: HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, REST & SOAP services, JSON & XML.
• Experience in implementing authentication protocols.

• Local candidates within 90 miles of Lansing, MI preferred.
• Office‑based environment; required onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
• Hybrid schedule – remote eligible on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays.
