Java Developer
Our client is seeking a Java/React Developer to collaborate the project manager, application owner, and resource manager, working on an agile development team to organize work, develop, test, and deploy code.
Tasks:
- Performs a variety of complex tasks and may report directly to a project lead or manager.
- Works closely with UI/UX team members to build modern, responsive user interfaces using React.

- Strong communication skills, teamwork, self-direction, commitment, and quick learning are essential.
NOTE:
Local candidates (strongly preferred) or non-local. Must be willing to relocate at their own expense from acceptance with no delays & follow the hybrid schedule). Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are required onsite days
Location: Lansing, MI
Contract: 1+ years
- 7 years Programming complex systems using current Java and development tools such as Eclipse/JBoss Developer Studio
- 4 years Programming with Java 8
- 5 years Development using the current Spring Framework
- 5 years Development with JPA/Hibernate
- 5 years Agile development environment experience
- 4 years Programming with Oracle 12C or Oracle 19C
- 4 years Development using React.js for building responsive user interfaces –
- 4 years Programming in the JBoss Enterprise environment
- Frontend development experience with a strong focus on meeting WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards (or higher).
- 4 years JUnit, Tiles
- 4 years Reporting tools such as Jasper Reports
