Skills Needed: BA in Education (preferably a Master's degree) or
BA in English or Applied Linguistics (preferably a Master’s degree) or
BA in modern languages(preferably a Master’s degree) with an accredited teaching certificate such as CELTA, DELTA, TESOL or another recognized professional teaching equivalent.

Must Live in Ohio, OR  live in a bordering state (KY, WV, IN, MI, PA) within 50 miles of Ohio state border
Bachelor’s Degree(s) AND
Minimum six (6) months of student teaching experience

Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong written/verbal communication skills
Ability to travel at least once per month within and between assigned geographic areas to support students, attend regularly scheduled meetings, and participate in school activities, open houses and orientations.
Experience working with the proposed age group
Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology
An ability to learn new technology tools quickly (e.g., database and web-based tools)
Ability to clear required background check(s)
Desired Qualifications:

Experience working in a virtual environment.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools
Experience teaching online (virtual) and/or in a brick-and-mortar environment
Familiar with Blackboard Collaborative or other online platforms

Experiences or leadership with taskforces and community coalitions or equivalents
Ability to work with minimal supervision, including prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines
Knowledge and skill with computer technology in preparing and making reports, presentations, data analysis and retrieval, email and internet applications
Knowledge of basic educational methods and the ability to effectively communicate/teach program specific material
Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, teamwork and group process skills
Flexibility and creativity in the workplace
Ability to work with diverse audiences and stakeholders
