SummaryForklift Operators load, unload, sort, stage, and transport products into and out of a warehouse. The position requires cooperative teamwork, minimal supervision, and strict adherence to company safety policies.
What You’ll Do- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, following company or site‑specific safety policies.
- Load and unload trailers, railcars, and transports to designated areas.
- Verify inbound/outbound products to ensure correct quantities and no damage.
- Use handheld scanners to comply with warehouse management system requirements.
- Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
- Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
- Help keep the facility clean, neat, and orderly.
- Perform additional duties assigned by supervisor.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift.
- Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in a warehouse environment.
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening and background investigation.
- Flexible to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with RF equipment.
- Warehouse experience in a high‑volume environment; food‑grade or refrigerated warehouse experience helpful.
- Familiarity with and ability to use order management systems such as WMS.
- Forklift certification.
